This is an English translation for your convenience. The German version is legally binding.

We want everyone to be able to use Routira, including people who use a keyboard instead of a mouse, a screen reader, magnification, or reduced motion. This statement covers routira.com, app.routira.com and the Routira apps for Mac, iPad and iPhone.

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the standard that the European standard EN 301 549 builds on.

What we do

We design and build Routira so that:

  • pages have a clear structure with headings, landmarks and labelled controls that assistive technologies can read;
  • everything can be operated with the keyboard, with a visible focus;
  • text and controls have sufficient contrast, in light and dark mode;
  • images that carry information have a text alternative;
  • animations respect your system's "reduce motion" setting;
  • content stays usable when zoomed to 200% and on small screens.

Status

Routira hasn't been independently audited for accessibility yet, so we don't claim that it fully meets WCAG 2.2 AA. We plan an independent audit before the public launch and will publish the result here.

Known limitations

  • The app is in a private alpha. Not every screen has been fully tested with screen readers yet.
  • Some interactions, such as rearranging items on project boards by drag and drop, may be difficult to use with a keyboard or a screen reader.
  • Routira shows messages the way their senders wrote them. We can't fix barriers inside other people's emails, such as images without alternative text or low-contrast designs.

If one of these limitations affects you, tell us. We'll help you find a way that works, and prioritize the fix.

Please tell us where you found the barrier and, if you can, which device, browser and assistive technology you use. We confirm your message within five working days and tell you what we'll do.

Routira is provided by a sole trader who is a micro-enterprise within the meaning of § 2 no. 17 of the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG): fewer than 10 employees and an annual turnover or annual balance sheet total of no more than €2 million. Under § 3 (3) BFSG, the accessibility requirements for services don't apply to micro-enterprises. We publish this statement voluntarily and work towards WCAG 2.2 AA anyway.

This statement was prepared on 26 September 2026, based on our own assessment. We review it at least once a year and whenever Routira changes significantly.
